THE ROBOTICS AT LEEDS PGR NETWORK
ACTIVITIES
We are interested in getting research conducted by postgraduate researchers out into the world and to aid in getting their voices heard.
PRESENTING WORK
Postgraduate researchers are given opportunities throughout the year to present their work to their peers. This is good practise for conferences as well as creating opportunities for researchers to hear about work in other fields. Mixing research areas has been shown to improve creativity and the production of novel solutions to problems.
OUTREACH
Getting prospective student excited about STEM subjects starts at a young age. The PGR network strives to help enthuse the engineers and scientist of tomorrow by taking part in a range of outreach projects. It is also an opportunity of researchers to demonstrate their work to the world!
NETWORKING
Within research networking is a powerful tool. Be it setting up connections for future collaborations or finding a new way of approaching your research with the help of another set of eyes. The PGR network encourages networking as it has been shown to drive innovation.
